Hard Sacrifice

It’s hard for some to see how the systematic institution of state sponsored slavery

and national practice of the designation of people of African descent as inferior or sub-human.

Has helped to result in the creation of a permanent black underclass

and it has left a fingerprint or stain on this nation and African-Americans.

With certain ideas and stereotypes being reinforced and passed down from generation to generation

by blacks and whites.

And although some issues have eased up I still sense a strong wave of reverse racism within black neighborhoods.

Negative responses to interracial relationships, friendships and children are still common today from both sides.

If you are a black youth and you get good grades or speak proper English you may face ridicule or worse.

Why? is it because or youth have embraced the stereo type that we can not be educated ?

is it because at our core we revolt against the western European version of historical events and education?

Why does success equal sellout? are we again embracing the stereotype?

The argument in essence is a moot point because everyone on this planet has one thing in common African DNA.

We are family on a truly dysfunctional level.

Continuing a war that began a millennium ago between two brothers in Africa we know now as Cain and Abel.

Cain consumed with hate and jealousy took his brothers life.

I have slain my brother with malice in my heart.

And onto the story of Joseph who was sold into SLAVERY by his own brothers out of hate and jealousy.

Am I my brothers keeper?

We can not afford to fall into the same trap.HATE is all consuming it will poison your heart and soul.

We have to pro black not anti white.

That does not mean we forget or forgive.It does not mean that we ever allow anyone to put chains on us again,But a race of people can not drink from the cup of vengeance only.

Our ancestors were more than just slaves and they did not go quietly into slavery!They fought and you need to know that.

And even in slavery our people fought back for the future with the only thing they had YOU.

Do not squander there gift they survived to see  you born so a prophecy could be fulfilled.

Many of the stories of African-Americans have been lost to history.

And in some ways we have been relegated to honorable mention in the creation of this nation.

So learn the stories that are left teach them to your brothers,sisters and children.

They need to know that we descended from a great people.

It is time to arise and fulfill the promise and prophecy that those before sacrificed so much for…ARISE
