Interracial Racism

To my black brothers and sisters: We have a few hangups to get past also. I know that we have suffered unmeasurable pain from racism but now I think it’s time to put some of these issues behind us to spare our future generations of hatred. We don’t have to forget, just forgive! Let’s start with our brothers: I can honestly say that this issue has not plagued our African American men as much as it has our women, women who have literally cussed me out from seeing me dating outside the race. I don’t get mad because I know that there are so many unresolved issues in your heads. The anger I see from my sisters thinking that the white girls are taking something from them is crazy! Nobody is taking anything, sweetheart, that black man made a choice to date outside the race. I do however, disagree with the black man who only wants to date white girls because of the number one excuse: My black sisters are not fulfilling me anymore! Let me go and try a white woman. Careful my brothers! You may hook up with a white girl who actually has feelings for you and she will get hurt because you are merely ‘experimenting’ outside the race. To my sisters, it is not what the black man does that takes anything from you, it is the the one thing that takes away from both the black and white race: Prejudice! It takes your time, your mind and your energy! I myself, have had relationships mostly with black women. I have had two with white women! Guess what the difference is between the two….NOTHING! I was never curious about white women I was merely attracted to a few! To those who are curious about it stop wasting your time being curious! White people are just people like us who’s ancestors have not treated us accordingly. White people are not their ancestors! they were born just like us not knowing what the hell was waiting for them in this world! We cannot and should not blame the ones who had nothing to do with the mistreatment of our race, they cannot control or erase what their ancestors have done! Put it to bed!

          To the black and white race(and all other races) If you are in love with a person outside of your race then by all means, keep it pushing! We are all getting too old to be worrying about what other people think! I am the type of person who will not compromise happiness for approval! There are great things about people in all races. You are going to attract who you are going to attract! Don’t fight it! If two people are genuinely attracted to one another, go for it! As hard as it already is to find a decent mate, who are we to tell someone not to be happy? Think about it!
