Is It Time for African Leaders to Relinquish Blind Leadership?

A look at African leaders from independence till present day. Zimbabwe is going the way most African countries end up, a review of the most difficult period in African political history.

Is it time for African leaders to relinquish blind leadership of their citizens?.

It is time we started to look into the under development and exploitation of a nation by people who come in through elections and refuse to leave office?, making the nation their personal fiefdom. my thoughts and writing here are a reflection of what l have seen in my short existence and what l have witnessed in the African countries l have lived. Please do not read this article and for once think l am bias, but totally truthful in my analysis and summary of the past years after African independence. I will indeed write provocative thoughts, but please do not blame me but the situation in which l write, l will voice alternatives, but they are only my thoughts so, where do we start? what is the point of African sovereignty, if the economic dynamics are pulled from another nation. lt is like been an adult but mum and dad still pay for everything you do. ln effect the family bond is strong but the ideal of attaining adulthood is limited to the risk your parents can afford to cover for your actions. which is the case with present African countries and European economic powers in the 21st century. Why have a leader who steals, plunders the wealth of the majority for the use of the few? I can honestly show and debate the fact that in the following countries, Nigeria,Liberia, Uganda, and of course Zaire , the leaders have failed the people through vindictive corruption and flagrant stealing of the peoples wealth and a total misunderstanding of how leadership for the people should be carried out.

Does Africa maybe need the re-introduction of colonialism? in the fact that we have failed to develop and be able to play in the political, economic and social development of African nations? if the colonial powers came back, would Africans be better off with the simple administration of the wealth and social structure that would be introduced? Of course, ther will be a penalty and a fee to pay for his, where African wealth will be again “Stolen” with the guise of helping the Natives, but rest assured the Natives will not be as badly affected as is the current situation.

What is the current situation, well, the situation is that most Africans have fled to Europe either legally or illegally causing some serious immigration problems both in African (through a brain drain) and in Europe and or America ( affecting social resources and racial tension)
