Obama Administration and Racism
Eric Holder wants a discussion about racism – so let’s have it from a Caucasian point of view.
In the past week I saw more evidence of the ugly spectre of racism raising its ugly head. In the past the accusation of racism has been levelled at Caucasians, usually due to attitudes towards blacks and Middle Eastern types. No one can deny that in speech Caucasians can and do say things that deserve the title of racism. However, the same is true for the African-American, the Indian, the Middle-Eastern type, etc. etc. What is very true is that racism has been rearing its ugly head since the election of Barak Obama, but it is not so much racism on behalf of the Caucasians as it is racism perpetrated by the African-American.
Whilst acknowledging that there is a long way to go with regards to standards of education, and all of the other things that form the complaints of African-Americans I do think that there is a lot of reverse racism that has come into play since the election of Barak Obama as President. In fact there was reverse racism in play that caused his election. It is a reverse racism because the gloating makes it all too obvious that this particular election was about the colour of a man’s skin rather than the policies (or lack of policies) that he was bringing to the table. It is reverse racism because the Media itself did not do its job and did not vet properly the Obama policies. The journalists as a whole failed to note the trend towards Marxist-Socialism in Obama speeches. It also failed to objectively scrutinize the promises that had been made. The lack of objectivity has led to the election of an administration that is already showing signs of being one of the most corrupt in the recent history of the USA.
However, there is even more evidence of this reverse racism with the signing of the Porkulus Bill, as well as the proposed bailout of mortgagees facing foreclosure. Perhaps it is the involvement of ACORN that makes me think that there is something very racist about the bailout proposal, or at least very wrong when the police fail to act when ACORN break in to a house in Baltimore and declare that the house now belongs to them. This kind of thing makes people cringe and it also alarms the people who have been financially responsible with their debt management. It would seem that the situation that has caused this crisis is one involving a piece of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton Legislation that forced lenders to give money to low income borrowers so that they could purchase a house. The whole story seems to be quite involved, yet some of the issues break down to: (1) buyers willing to pay too high a price for a house; (2) low income earners borrowing over and above what they could afford to repay; (3) the manner in which the loans were repackaged. The last reason is the one that has caused the toxic debt.
One reason that we have not been able to be open about a variety of issues happens to be the giant slap down delivered by the liberal leftist-Marxists to those who are willing to speak up about certain issues including the encroaching of Islamism and the persecution of Christians by others. In certain circles one is not allowed to point out the realities of what is in the Koran, instead they pretend that Islam means “peace” as in no war, whereas the reality is that Islam means peace as in “everyone is to be subjected to Islam” or there will be war. One is not allowed to point out how it is the Muslims who are extreme racists, or that there has been an increase in anti-Semitism. Here again there is hypocrisy with regard to the subject of Semitism and anti-Semitism, especially amongst those who have become Holocaust deniers. It is wrong to state that if anyone dares to bring up the vagries of Islam that one is being racist. Islam is not a race. Islam is a political system, that is a theocracy. The aim of Islam, especially amongst the most radical is world domination. We see this with the encroaching Sharia Law. We also see the way in which some governments have taken to the cringing appeasement of the Islamists, just like Neville Chamberlain and others attempted to appease Adolf Hitler. It seems that they have forgotten the lessons of the past, in their desire to appease these people.
An effective dialogue needs to be very open. It needs to allow for all of these issues to be discussed without rancour and without the accusation of racism being attached if people are going to be able to express what is on their minds. In the present climate we are finding that to state what is on one’s mind about such issues seems to bring about the accusation of racism. We live in a politically correct world which has meant that people are getting unnecessarily offended over something as silly as a comparison of a man with wiry hair to a golliwog (a child’s toy) – and probably meant that he was good enough to cuddle. Slapping people down with accusations of racism is not going to help get rid of the stereotyping. It will in fact have the opposite effect, and it will lead to the aggravation of fears about the future.
As for the Obama Administration, skin tone has nothing to do with the corruption and the ineptness that has been displayed over the past month. Today’s gaffe came from Hillary Clinton when she stated that human rights are less important than the non-existent climate change crisis. To date we have seen promises of transparency being broken on a daily basis, the pushing through of a bill known as porkulus which was the handiwork of two white people – Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi – without the bill being read and understood first, as well as the setting aside of other promises that has led to the appointment of several people who are now ex-lobbyists. These are just a few examples of the ineptness being displayed by a group of people who have degrees but not the common sense to be good administrators. Barak Obama has very little experience with administration within government. He should have been considered as someone who was too inexperienced for such an important role. However, the true racists saw this as an issue relating to skin tone, and the man was elected. As a result the USA is saddled with an administration that is already proving itself to have issues with coruption, as well as one that is in fact very racist.
If Eric Holder wants to see open dialogue then stop the slapping down of the opinions of others, and stop the accusations about racism. It is very hypocritical to claim that the rest of us are cowards about this issue. Let us bury the Political Correctness forever, and then we can at least hold a dialogue without being afraid of expressing our opinions.
