Racism and the People It Affects You May Not Think of
This discussed the people racism affects that you may not think of. And if some of them deserve it.
Obviously there is racism towards African Americans . But there is racism towards Caucasians too. For example: My Uncle is a wealthy man and is white and Jewish. There are many people who would think of those people as rich stuck up spoiled brats, and that can be true. But, sometimes the case is that they actually worked hard for it. My Uncle grew up deprived and paid his way through college. His mom was dying at the time and his dad was verbally abusive. He is a kind man that gives much of his money to foundations to help the enviorment. So this is an example just to let you know that racism does not just go towards the ghetto gang members or Blacks and Hispanics.
Another example: My Grandpa grew up in the Bronx during the depression. He worked hard his whole life and was verbally and physically abused. He ( this may not sound good but he had too) lied that he was catholic to get into medical school and had to learn french so he could get in. He then opened Doctors Park and is now very successful. But many people would say he is an old rich white guy. But he worked hard for it.
I hope that you got something from this and please tell me your imputes.

Your article demonstrates your misunderstanding of racism. Your grandfather, though doubtless a victim of discrimination, could never suffer racial oppression. With few fair-skinned exceptions, no African American could lie about identityand avoid discrimination. People who suffer because of race experience the powerlessness of not being white. Racism is more about power than it is about discrimination. That notion is difficult for most white people to appreciate.
