Servant Leadership

Servant leadership is the best type of leadership we always wanted.  How many leaders you can find today who have the  sincerity to serve?  Maybe there are a few in some places.  If you want to be a leader, you have the commitment to serve. Whether you are a church leader, team leader, group leader, community leader organization leader the bottomline is service. You have to serve the people you are leading.

A servant leader is willing to help the people he is leading.  He will spend his time, money and effort to assist whoever needs assistance. People first then sesond himself.  How many leaders in your community has this quality of service? You are fortunate if you can find one in your area.

A servant leader will show you how to do things by doing it himself and encourage you to follow not commanding you to do what he wants to happen.  A servant leader is not a commander but a service oriented person whose hands on the job. He is a living example to his followers. Thats’a good servamt leader we all wish to have.

A servant leader is true to his words.  You hear people who aspire to be  leaders, they have lots of promises during their campaigns. They would let people believe that they are  the answer to all the people’s problems because they will do this and that and so on, when they will be given a chance to be their leader.  They are very nice and helpful during campaign but after they will be chosen as leader, their promises are gone by the wind. This is the reason why I won’t believe unless I see the proof of what they said.

A servant leader is humble and approachable. He  will answer the call of service over his personal matters.  Where can we find this type of leaders nowadays? We are all wishing that they still exist.
