Temple Anniversary in Simunjan, Sarawak

Temple anniversary celebrated with a rock concert.

I was doing a report but I can’t help myself from sharing what I’m experiencing right now…people are having a mini concert just next to the place I rent ing celebrating the town temple anniversary. I’m not sure how long this temple have been built but I’m sure this is the temple where most of the Chinese community come to pray. The music is so loud but I don’t mind because I’m actually enjoying myself even though some of the songs are so foreign to me, well not that foreign but I’m not that fluent with Chinese Mandarin to actually understand them.

Too shy to come down and watch, I don’t peek down from my window and took a couple of pictures. I can see some tents were drawn up-well since yesterday-and people are sitting down, drinking beers and enjoying themselves while being entertain by some local Chinese artists. Actually they sound quite good compare to some international singer; very energetic and good pronunciation (even though I hardly understand).

I can hear children playing too right now so  I guess most of them will not be turning up to school tomorrow morning. None the less I think their parents don’t mind much. So like  I said, I took a couple of pictures so here there are…

P/S: They look almost the same since I shot these from my window :)

Well, you had a birds-eye view of the festivities, some nice photos, and you got to listen to good music for free.

Thank you for the comments, I did enjoy listening to the songs even though I only managed to sleep after it ends.
