The Culture and Beliefs of Kurd People
In this essay I wrote some points about culture and beliefs of Kurd people an I think it can be interesting to other people.
Kurd people are scattered around the world but we have four countries that most of the Kurd people live there.These countries are Iran,Iraq,Turkey and Syria.
In an ancient belief Kurd people love three things horse,gun and woman.These people speak kurdish. Kurdish language is very near to Persian and Arabic.
These people have traditional foods.One of the most famous foods among them is Kalaneh.This food is made of flour,water and some local plants.People like this food very much and usually they eat this food in spring because in spring we have the plants that needed for making it.
They have special clothes too.Today we saw this special clothes only in villages and small towns.We have special shoes for Kurd people too.These people call this shoe Klash.
They have special ceremonies in wedding.When two persons married they should celebrate their marriage.Bridegroom and bride should invite relatives to their wedding and after the wedding relatives give some gifts to bridegroom and bride.
When a child bears among Kurd people ,relatives and friends congratulate it to baby,s father and mother and usually women give some gifts to baby,s mom.
The most famous celebration among Kurd people is Ramadan celebration. In this celebration people go to each other,s home and some people have some presents for children.
Health , money and belief are the most important factors among Kurd people.Kurdish literature is very rich and we have a lot of writers that they are anonymous according to political and social reasons.
