The Importance of a Native Language
Native language are as important as international languages. Infact all the languages are important because they give their own meanings to a social phenomenon for example. So if you do not have the answer to your question in English switch to Swahili or Luganda for example.
There are still children from wealthy families or “new rich families” that do not speak their native language. This is probably one of the causes of the fiasco of many new democracies around the world: the problem of communication. Even when you know the native language but you do not belong to the middle class but to the white collar class you still do not get an ear to listen to you. Native languages are most important for researchers who are looking for a solution to help the populations make a transition during a crisis or to introduce a new medication for example. Native language should become a priority in families so that the children may know the benefits of knowing other languages and meeting with other cultures on equal basis. There are occasions to speak other languages especially in cultural centers where you can learn English and French that way you can compare with your own native language.
