The only thing common between baltic goddess and picture that is given is that artis of this painting is Lithunian - Petras Kalpokas. And the name of the picture is \"Wifes portrait\" (1933).
P.S. It is not slavic god of beer. Baltic.

Ups... :/ not professional.

Very informative! Who knew there were so many god and godesses to beer and wine and ethanol in general. I guess you knew.

Nice to see females represented.

Now, try to say "Tezcatzontecatl" or "Mbaba Mwana Waresa" when you've had a few too many.

I am writing a paper about the beer gods of history and in fact, Osiris is not one of them. I have read through 3 books about Egyptian mythology and one about Osiris himself and none of them make any mention of him being the god of beer. He is the god of death, the dead and the underworld. I would like to know where the author of the article got their information, because as far as I'm concerned, its wrong.

Beer IS God, didn't you hear? "Liquid food" the original manufacturers called it... It can be divine, if you treat it well...
