some people believe that in 2012 the world is going to end. There are many reasons why it could end but it most likely will not. They said the world was going to end in 2000 and it did not. They also said it would in 2008 too but it did not. However 2012 is slightly different because every religion says the world is going to end. The bible says it will, Muslims say it will and many other religions do. The Mayans believed that it was going to end in 2012 and they knew more about space and time than us. The Mayan calender ends on December 21st, 2012. Every 26000 years all the planets line up on this day and some believe that this will make planet x crash into the earth because of gravitational pull. Another theory that Albert Einstein came up with is that every 26000 years the magnetic fields on earth change and it makes it so north and south switch. There is proof that this has happened before. If this happened slowly it would cause massive earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes. It would make the Yellowstone volcanoes erupt and this is one of the most massive volcanoes in the world and it would cover the whole country in ash. It would destroy everything within 60 miles of it. There would also be tsunamis so big that they could go over the Himalayan mountains. There is a Movie that came out 11/13/09 about this. Some people also think that there will be a spiritual awakening. Nobody really knows for sure what will happen but something might and i wrote this to help spread awareness of this event.
