Historian, anthropologist and researcher, Carlos Barrios was born in a Spanish family of the Altiplano, in the hills of Guatemala. His family lived in Huehuetenango, also the home of the Maya Mam tribe. The Mam are considered among the Maya as the Keepers of Time, references and authorities at the old calendars.

The prophecies show that we have reached the end of the last cycle of existence for our civilizations. The dates of the cycle correspond to the beginning 12 August 3114 BC C. and 21 December 2012 to the end. At this time our planet is expected to record very violent earthquakes terribly devastating.

Mayan understanding of time, seasons, cycles is vast and complex. The Maya had 17 different calendars, some of which describe the temporal event in detail for more than 10 million years. The calendar that drew particular attention, since 1987, is called the Tzolk’in or Cholq’ij. It is based on the cycle of the Pleiades, is considered sacred and determines important turning points in history.

For example, in the year so-called “Roseau”, a day is mentioned as very important for Americans. According to Carlos Barrios, since 1987 we are in a period when the right arm of the materialistic world is disappearing, slowly but inexorably. We are on the cusp of a new era where peace begins, and where people live in harmony with Mother Earth. We are no longer in the world of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the world of the Fifth Sun. This is the period between the two, the transition period.

This transition period is reflected by an energy colossal environmental destruction, social chaos, war and land changes. All this was foreseen long ago by the ancient Maya. That is, according to Barrios, a simple question of “mathematical spiral.” There will be major changes, he says,everything will change.He said that the Guardians of Time Mayan consider December 21 2012 as the date of the rebirth, the start of the World’s Fifth Sun. At sunrise on 21 December 2012 and for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun will rise to join the intersection of the Milky Way and the ecliptic plane. This cosmic cross is considered an incarnation of the Sacred Tree, the Tree of Life, a tree known in all spiritual traditions of the world.

Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012, will open a channel for cosmic energy so that it can flow through the land, cleaning and all that remains in it and raising everything to a highest level of vibration. This process has already begun, says Carlos Barrios:Change is accelerating now and it will still continue to accelerate. If humanity can reach 2012 in good conditions, without having too trashed the planet, we raise to a higher level. But to do this, we must transform huge and powerful forces that we are seeking to block the passage. 

Another way 

From his understanding of tradition and Mayan calendars, Carlos Barrios paints a portrait of the current state of humanity: The date that corresponds to the winter solstice of the year 2012 does not indicate the end of the world. Many people use that time to the disaster. This is proof that they are poorly informed. Those who have real knowledge are the custodians of the Indian tradition. 

 The physical structures will change. From there, we will have the opportunity to be more human.We are currently the most important decade in the history of mankind. All prophets, all traditions of the world converge on these years that we are now experiencing.

Time is more to the game but to action. Many powerful souls have chosen to incarnate during this period, and they came with great credentials. This is true of both sides, as the Light of the Shadow. High magic is at work on both sides. Things will change, but the degree of difficulty or ease of things to come, depend on us each and every one of us.

The power of the liberal economy is an illusion. The first five years of the transition period (August 1987 to August 1992), marked the beginning of the destruction of the material world. Banks are now fragile. They pass through a delicate moment. They could collapse in coming months but we can not change anything. If banks are collapsing, we are forced us to focus on ourselves and on Earth. The North and South Poles will fall together. The water level in the oceans will rise. But at the same time, land springs from the ocean, especially near Cuba.

During its cycle of lectures in Santa Fe, Carlos Barrios told a story about the Mayan ceremonies last New Year’s in Guatemala. He said a former highly respected Mam, who lives alone in a cave on a mountainside, made the trip to Chichicastenango to come forward a message to people. He called on people to come together to support life and light. Now each person and each group will on their side. The Old Mountain said that there can be hopeful that if the workers of light come together and unite.

Carlos Barrios has this comment:We live in a world of polarity: day and night, man and woman, positive and negative. Light and Shadow need each other and are in balance. But now the shadow side is very strong and very determined about its objectives. Its priorities are clear and well structured hierarchy. The hierarchy of Shadow works so that we are unable to connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012.

According to Carlos Barrios, the shadow side works to prevent the awakening of conscience and strengthen the materialism. Carlos Barrios explained that the advent of the Fifth Age of the Sun requires a very special. While the traditional four elements, earth, air, water and fire have dominated periods of the past, there is now a fifth element to consider, which will mark the advent of the era of the Fifth Sun is the ether.

The dictionary defines ether as an element of the rarefied atmosphere. Ether is actually more active in our universe. It penetrates all space and transmits waves of energy on a wide range of frequencies, from cell phones to human auras. Ether, the element of the Fifth Sun is celestial and lacking in material substance, but it is as real as wood, stone or flesh.

In terms of the ether, there may be a fusion of polarities. This is Shadow and Light, but structured a merger between the two. Currently, the Kingdom of Shadow refuses the merger. In 1924, Anna Le Guillon Mitchell-Hedges then aged 17 and his adoptive father, the English explorer Frederick Albert Mitchell-Hedges, discovered a skull of rock crystal in the ruins of a temple of the Mayan “fallen stones “to Lubaantùn, Belize.

Apart from the absence of the cranial sutures, is a near perfect reproduction of a human female skull, weighed 5 kg and consists of two pieces, the lower jaw fit exactly to the top.
