Armageddon 2013: Introduction- The Fall of a Nation

This is the introduction to a book that I am writing based upon the current state of the nation and the futuristic outlook of the coming apocalypse we shall soon face.

November 2013: As mentioned above President Kahir had been re-elected and beginning with the second inauguration attempts had been placed upon his life. On the 23rd of November, his life was taken in an assassination plot brought on by one of the Southern factions previously spoken of. This happened to be the anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy, fifty years to the day. Another thing that seemed strange was how Kahir had been compared to Kennedy throughout the time he served as President.

With the assassination, the Chinese had been able to take control by Christmas seeing they had already had the ground work set in place. And with the majority of the people either facing unemployment or already unemployed and losing everything that they had gained during their lives we knew the fight was about to begin. The question that was now be asked  was, “could we rely on those who had been our allies in the past or would we have to fight this battle on our own seeing the initial battle would be fought on domestic soil.” One thing our allies had to realize was that if we lost the battle on our home front, the Chinese would have the power to take their countries in the same fashion.

We knew the battle could not be fought on a conventional level as most wars have been and that this war would have to be fought on an intellectual and financial field of play. The first thing that we had to do was to protect the investments that we had made in the Middle East and seeing we still had troops overseas and stationed in critical arena we had a beginning ground to base our efforts. We would first protect those oilfields that we built seeing 60% of the oil produce worldwide comes from this region. Next would be to take out the infrastructure of the businesses that were now controlled by the Chinese on domestic soil and finally we had to begin redeveloping economic structures that would allow for the population that had followed to have control of themselves.

NOW THE WAR BEGINS!!!
