Botox Mom Created Hoax to Make Money
by In what is now being called a hoax, the mother who injected Botox into her child to give her an edge in a child’s beauty pageant wanted to make money by becoming the next big reality star. When authorities took custody of her child she got more than she bargained for. So now what?
The mother who admitted to giving her child Botox shots is saying it was all a hoax. This elaborate scheme was created with the hope she and her child would be asked to sign a reality show contract making them instantly rich. Large amounts of money has not been forthcoming but authorities intervening on behalf of the child’s welfare was. Now that the mother has lost custody of her child she is claiming it was all a lie, a hoax to get attention.
Media Attention Received
The same tabloid who originally reported the story is now stating the article was a hoax to gain media attention for the mother and child. The names of the woman and her daughter are fake and the mother is also stating the story of the Botox injections are fake as well.
When one lies it creates the need to continue to lie to cover for the first lie until no one knows what the “truth” is in reality. One can be sure when this hoax, if it is a hoax, was first developing the mother didn’t consider the negative affects of the media attention towards giving her child Botox shots. And one can believe she never imagined the alleged hoax would result in the confiscating of her child. To quote a movie popular with children, Meet the Robinsons, “this plan wasn’t well thought out.”
So the Botox Mom acheived her goal of media attention, just not the financial gain she was expecting. Instead the mother finds herself defending her actions, trying to explain her lies, and fighting to regain custody of her most precious gift, her daughter. After all of this they both are going to need therapy and plenty of it. Her predicament brings back to mind a lesson we all know but sometimes forget: The LOVE of money is the root of all sorts of injurious things….and because of this love some… have stabbed themselves all over with many pains (1 Timothy 6:10 NE Translations). At least it appears true for this family.

She shows herself less fit to be a mother every time she opens her mouth. Reminds me of that other strange parent child story of the boy in a balloon a short while ago.

People will do anything for money. It wasn’t a good plan. and I wonder how it’s effecting this child.

Love has indeed cooled off when mothers do such things hoax or real to their children.
