Doomsday: December 12, 2012

The day human civilization will end.

One of the most famous prophets in the world is Michaela De Nostredeme, formally known as Nostradamus, predicts a natural catastrophe on December 12, 2012. His book, Les Prophecies is one of three books to never go out of publishing since its release. The other two are the Bible and the Qur’an. He is famous for his predictions of the attack on the World Trade Centers, the London Fire, the rise of Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte, and many others. Nostradamus predicts a “great reign of terror from the skies will fall on the 12Th monTh of the year 2012” which means a meteoroid (Nostradamus 78). He goes on to tell that the flood the meteoroid caused by will be as high as “Olympus Festulan” (Nostradamus 79). Olympus Festulan simply translates into Mount Olympus. The High of Mount Olympus is approximately 10,000 feet. “A wave of that magnitude would essentially flood the entire earTh.” (Dolores 56).  Between the impact of the meteoroid and the flooding of most of the earTh, human extinction would not be certain but would be a very strong possibility.

Predictions of when the world will end will always be alive and debated. Since December 21, 2012 is getting closer and popularity of the day is rising, it will spark up new theories of how the outcome of the day will happen. December 21, 2012 has overwhelming predictions from some of the most respected scientists, prophets, and bishops in history who have continually proved themselves in the past. From the ending of the Mayan calendar, St. Malachy’s prophecy, and Nostradamus’s predictions of the world ending, this is by far the most talked about and studied day in which human civilization could end.

Thanks for writing this article! I wrote a 2012-related post discussing what I would do if the world will really end on 2012. You can check it out at http://socyberty.com/future/things-to-do-if-the-world-ends-on-2012/ .

For me, it’s a matter of doing the things that I need or love to do before the end comes. So while I still have some time, I’ll spend it doing what I love and with the people that I love so it won’t matter if the end is on 2012 or not.
