A mythological aquatic creatures with a female human body parts to the abdomen and a tails of fish including fins. Mermaids are found broadly n many literature and popular cultures. According to Wikipedia the word mermaid come from mere meaning the sea and maid a woman.

A story that tells a tale of a mermaid that rescued a prince from a stinking ship and fell in love with him.
