Mysterious Water Dwelling Creatures
The Loch ness monster and other mysterious creatures like it.
There are many types of monsters that I have mentioned so here are some possible solutions. A believed to be extinct creature know as a Tullimonstrum Gregarium or for short Tully-Monster could be a candidate for any of the creatures mentioned (Steffens 28). The species of the Tully-Monster is unknown but is believed to be a worm, shellfish or some undiscovered creature (Steffens 28). Roy P. Mackal thinks that Nessie is a Zeuglodon. A Zeuglodon is a snake-like whale supposedly extinct. Some people think Nessie is an eel, elephant seal, or even a sea cow (Clark and Pears 378). There is only one problem with this theory is none of those creatures look like Nessie. The most likely explanation is that Nessie is a Plesiosaur that didn’t die off (Clark and Pears 378). The Plesiosaur eats plants and lives in water but was thought to be extinct 65 million years ago (Clark and Pears 371). However no theory is a perfect match to all of the data.
