I guess I’m kind of a nerd too, but only because I knew all these creatures. As a mythology buff, this was a cool piece, but the worst part for me was that I kept going “I saw that movie on Sci-Fi, and that movie, and that movie”.

Hmmm, maybe I need to get out more. Great job, keep it up.

Hey nice that you made this site. You used very nice pictures but i have one minor issue:

The explanations of the creatures are so short that it misinforms people sometimes. And some of the information is wrong like Vampires are from slavic? Vampire stories are as old as Mesopathamia (i cant spell) were the city of babylon was.The name vampire is Slavic.

    thank you very much,
    Rosie

Its so important for ancient mythology to be preserved in a comprehensive articulate manner. Its inspiring to writers and other creatives. So true about Final Fantasy, even noticed uncanny resemblances to Warcraft. Btw,it doesn’t make you a nerd to rock a mythology page like this. Hats off to you:)

I think you overlapped unicorns with the Pegasus, which is a horse like figure with wings — unicorns do not have wings, and their horn do have healing powers and their blood supposedly offer eternal life
