Six Degrees of Separation

This world carries and incorporates the idea we are only 6 degrees away from knowing everyone in the entire world. It is indeed possible to continue to look at different people I know and find my relationship to the President of the United States, or anyone else in the world as far as that goes. The people do not have to be intimate friends, and can be remote acquaintances, but there is a way to fill in the gap between myself and the President if I thought long and hard about it. I remember hearing a radio show once that used a movie actor as an example of this. Sure enough they found a way to fill in the separated gap with other people until this was a proven fact. Not only did they do it once, they proved it over and over again by beginning with a new person and ending with the chosen actor.

For a long time I have played with this concept not really knowing why. It seems as though the things we are supposed to remember we do. Everything we need to know, we already have stored in our memory.  What we do not remember, the Universe has a way of jogging our memory.  Learning there is a conscious separation that can be measured in 6 degrees has taken me much longer to understand than a physical interpretation. I eventually learned this was why the concept of 6 degrees of separation stayed with me.

I have to admit when I ponder a subject sometimes it takes years for the full meaning to dawn on me. As I reasoned, if there were 6 degrees of separation between people, then there must be 6 degrees that separates our world from a higher next level of understanding. Because there are layers of spiritual differences separating our world from our higher reality, I began to realize 6 degrees is how far our conscious understanding is away from Higher Conscious understanding. The 6 degree gap lies in conscious communication.  In other words, it is difficult for me to understand why this world is in such a mess because I am 6 degrees away from being able to understand the real value my mind cannot see.  It is not that the information is not readily available; it is that I cannot comprehend what is being explained to me. I keep falling into the 6 degree gap because I cannot see the next link to new understanding.
