Stonehenge – One of Man’s Unsolved Mysteries
How they were built, who built them and why they were built? These are questions that we are still seeking answers to today.

Stonehenge are the mysterious circle of stones that sit upright. They are located in southern England. It is most certainly one of the most known structures of mankind. The construction of Stonehenge is believed to have begun about 5,000 years ago. The stones that are still left standing today were most likely put into place about 4,000 years ago.
How was Stonehenge built? Whoever built Stonehenge used picks to dig. This much we do know. Archaeologists have found picks made of wood, antlers of red deer and shoulder blades of oxen. They believe this is what was used to dig around Stonehenge. How the stones were moved and set into place is unknown.
Who built Stonehenge? There are so many myths and legends to this question. The list is long, some people claim the Danes, Greeks, Atlanteans, Egyptians, Druids or possibility the Saxons. There is a tale that Giants built Stonehenge. Some people today claim it is the work of Aliens {UFO’S} pointing out that Stonehenge is arranged very much like the crop circles that are appearing.
But why was Stonehenge built? One theory is it was used for an observatory, for marking celestrial movements. The stones do aligned almost perfectly with the sunrise on the summer solstice. While others believe it was used for a temple to worship ancient Earth deities. Yet others claim it was a religious structure, built for rituals and ceremonies. If it was made by UFO’S is it a landing site?
We may never know the real reason Stonehenge was built or how or what it was used for. It may always remain a mystery. Personally I believe Stonehenge was used for many different things in different time periods. What do you think about Stonehenge?

We will never know the real story about it neither will my grandchildren I will bet. But whoever did must have had a purpose and its still standing. A part of me believe it could have been used for magical purposes at one time in history.Who knows for sure,,,
