According to the Greek Mythology, Zeus is the king of the gods. He is considered as the ruler of mount Olympus where the gods according to myths lives. He is also referred as the god of the sky and thunder.

He was said to be the child of Cronus and Rhea. He is also the youngest of all his siblings.
Zeus was much known in his erotic escapades. He is the father of many godly off-springs. This includes Aphrodite, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes,Persephone, Dionysus,Perseus,Heracles, Helen, Minos and Muses. He was also said to have fathered Ares, Hebe and Hephaestus.
The Roman counterpart of this Greek god is Jupiter.
