Many names were given to the place as ”Graveyard of the Atlantic, “ ”Sea Devil”, ”Sea of Lost Ships. “

The Bermuda Triangle or Devil’s Triangle is a region of the Atlantic Ocean where a large number of planes and ships have disappeared in mysterious circumstances. The vertexes of this triangle is usually limited by the island of Bermuda, the City of San Juanin Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida, but its boundaries are elastic and can reach to forma diamond to accommodate all the disappearances in the neighborhood.

To explain this phenomenon several theories were developed, such as portals to other dimensions, energy fields caused by ancient crystals from the lost continent of Atlantis abandoned on the ocean floor, temporal anomalies, magnetic or gravity, black holes, alien abductions and sea monsters , for scientists already are the result of sudden submarine gas eruptions and tidal waves.

The first description that was on the Bermuda Triangle was Christopher Columbus, when was going towards America, which reported seeing a fireball in the sky, today explained as a meteorite, also described his passage through the Sargasso Sea, whichis a part of the ocean covered the Sargasso (a kind of seaweed), considering the real reason for the disappearance of ships, imprisoned for their long doldrums and sailing vessels, leading men to abandon their vessels or die on them.

Charles Berlitz published in 1974, the book “Bermuda Triangle”, sales success, which took up issues of supernatural disappearances, citing such facts as: the mystery of Flight 19, which was the name of a group of five TBM Avenger fighter-bombers U.S. Navy which took off on December 15, 1945, Fort Lauderdale, who after a successful training, disappeared without trace, disappeared shortly after one of the seaplanes also sent rescue, triggering a major rescue operation in history, with over 240 aircraft, navy ships, coast guard vessels, private yachts and even submarines, but nothing was found.

On January 29, 1948, an old English bomber, Star Tiger, also disappeared on the spot, with 25 passengers on board, the last news that had been a communication with the pilot reporting that the tower would reach its destination on time, without reporting any problems. Strangely, almost a year later, another plane the same, the Star Ariel, also vanished without a trace. The DC-3 airliner, which made the path San Juan and Miami, also disappeared and its passengers were never found.
