The Safest Places to be in 2012

by Ashli Arispe in Folklore, July 7, 2009

Describes the safest areas in the U.S. as well as the world to be during the expected catastrophes of 2012.

2012 is only three years away and already panic and hysteria is in the air. Many fear that it will be the end. If the environmental prophecies come true there are some “safe havens” that will remain intact during the havoc.

Africa, is said to be one of those places to remain intact. (Even with the ice caps melting etc.) However, there are many problems that come with this. The geographical range of the regions are very diverse from north to south and east and west. On one side you have desert and on the other you have jungles. Africa already has a diminishing food supply, wars, genocides, and it is the world’s poorest country. Africa also has many diseases including Cholera, a widespread of HIV/AIDS,Ebola,Jaundice,Malaria,Polio, and Yellow Fever. Getting these vaccinations and your passport can take up to six months if not more so if this is the destination you wish to travel to for 2012, it is important to start preparing from 2011.

The mountains in eastern Australia will survive the immense water that will encompass the country. Those in Bolivia are also likely to survive. The vegetation will take a plunge but this is expected everywhere.Canada will be a good place after the expected pole shift. Volcanic activity and earthquakes are highly expected before the event. Some adjustments will have to be made after due to the change in climate.China is expected to fare well due to the above sea level status. There will be a dramatic change in climate in China. Great amounts of rain are expected to occur after the pole shift which then will cause serious flooding.Columbia will also become a safe haven. The pole shifting will cause cut off between them and other countries which will lead to the stopping of drug wars. The drugs being grown will remain undamaged however. Iceland will not suffer from the pole shift. Due to it’s geographical location, it will have the same amount of earthquakes and volcanic activity as it does now. However after the pole shift when the ice caps are melting more and more, the amounts of water will affect the country. The climate is also bound to change.

In America

Alaska will do well during the pole shift. The climate will become much warmer, since it is hardly populated-worries of mass hysteria or starvation are unlikely. There will be a problem with the Alaskan Pipeline, it will rupture and drain but this is of no serious harm. The highlands of Arizona will be the safest place after the pole shift within this state. However, it will have a high population and high taxes after the shift.Colorado will also be relatively safe,it will experience some flooding. But the foothills of this state will become a place for refugees. Kansas will become overpopulated due to many of the surrounding state’s citizens rushing there to take refuge. Food will soon become scarce but it is still a safe bet. Minnesota and many of the other states bordering Canada will be easily able to resume business after the shift. The climate will change but as an effect will only improve conditions.

As with any crisis many problems are bound to ensure before, during, and after the pole shifts that are not environmental. Many countries will cut off their borders to other countries due to overpopulation. When in many other countries, don’t expect the royal treatment. In these situations, the government will assist their people first. You can also expect nationalism. Even here in America, many states will become overpopulated which will cause great rationing to the food supply amongst other things. There will most likely be luding, burglary, and even murder on a wide-scale level. Heavy taxes will be put in place after the crisis. Many have already begun to save dry foods, diapers, and other things that are expected to be needed. If you fear this event, I suggest that you do the same.

I can see how your artical could be very true.Everyone needs to make arrangments or start looking at property in those areas to be able to move to just before this takes place. It is always important to save canned goods and fresh water incase of anything as well as cash on hand and not just in the bank.

I bought a CD by The Peru Singing Woman. the song the vision sings about the destruction and then the Healing of our Sick Mother Earth.
Im In the mountains of the highlands at the moment but desperate to move. what will be will be. We all die . It’s as natural as being born.
Things can’t go on as they are. There has to be change.
Im a little scared an im trying not think to much but ive had 3 dreams of flooding. One the wave was like a mountain and grey very wild and angry
