2012-excitement
I want you to feel what I feel.
It’s hard to believe this world that we know, could just stop so abruptly. Plants die off, animals begin to starve, and chaos repels chaos. Our own homes would become their own homes, and the public that we know now would be considered the fear that we know then.
What were you doing during the Y2K freak? Hiding in your cellars; partying hard; praying for your families; laughing at the critics; sleeping? I was outside, running around looking for the answer. “What is going to cause this Y2K accident???” I’m a curious George, and to me life is short and cant ever get shorter. So whats the difference whether it ends today, or it never ends?
Now we all know nothing happened to us in the year 2000, but that was just a rumor by mouth. As for 2012, this is a rumor by mouth with a little bit of history. As we all should probably know by now, the ancient Mayan’s created one of the first actual calenders that is perfect to date. The only in-perfection of this calender is that it ends 12/12/2012. WHY?! Nobody really knows for sure. In my eyes, i like to think they had a since of humor. What else could be the cause of this abrupt stop to their calender? Maybe they got tired of making a calender? Maybe they wanted to leave it to their future families to finish it because they didn’t know when it ended. I would say they knew as much as we do when it comes to the end of the calendar.
I say it is a sin to judge the end of our days. I say it is a miracle to know the end of our days. I live my life day by day, not worrying about when it ends. As long as I’m around, I’ll work hard to do what I can to keep myself happy. Live our lives to the fullest every single day! So when that day does come, it wont be too soon; too late.
