Apocolypse Now

Self professed preacher Harold Camping needs no more press time. What he needs is for the planet to evolve so he can say, “I told you so.”

With record tornado’s, tsunami’s and volcano’s erupting does it look like the end is coming? And do you believe that a Heavenly creator envisioned our destruction? A creator of abundant love and tolerance as long as we do what he says’s?

Man’s ego is as expansive as the universe. We all want to be immortal and rich. We all want security and peace.

Science has told us of an ice age. A time when the volcano’s erupted around the world and destroyed many life forms. During this time massive earthquakes with tsunamis occurred and early civilizations were taken out in one day. Now we are witnessing mother natures fury. And this is just the beginning. A preacher does not need to tell us so science has proven this planet evolves.

All the land masses on this earth will shift. How great that shift will be is any ones guess. But to continue building in areas where tornado’s destroy everything in their path is the definition of insanity. We have to do something different if we wish to survive.

If there was a creator of the universe, surely when it gave us brains we were meant to use them. Space travel has been in play for some time now. Yet we baulk at the idea of going further. We send probes not people to explore. The cost is tremendous. While we sit here waiting for the next disaster to strike we are like sitting ducks.

If Preacher camping wanted to he could spur his flock to invent space worthy vehicles. But like most God fearing men he tells us we will all die except those chosen few. Who must believe in God or perish.

Out of the deaths from those world record tornado’s there were those who believed in God. Belief does not mean we will not die. But to sit by and do nothing does seem a bit insane as well. If Apocalypse is here now then we are all in for the ride of our lives.
