Breaking the Speed of Light: It is Humanly Impossible
About the possibility of a human traveling at the speed of light.
Breaking the speed of light would be a monumental discovery. It would revolutionize the way people think about all types of sciences. There are so many things that are not known about breaking the speed of light, but then there are other aspects about breaking the speed of light that can be figured out using some good and simple logic.
One of the things that are known is the effects of light speed. One of the major effects of breaking the speed of light is distorted vision. Our vision is limited to the speed of light. That means if we are traveling at the speed of light we would never be able to see anything clearly because our eyes would never be able to receive a constant stream of images. The images that reach our eyes would be blended because of the amount of light that reaches our eyes would be limited to the light that we are running into. This is also known as tunnel vision. If you were able to break the speed of light in a spaceship then you would not be able to see anything. The problem with that is you can easily run into any object. This would be a catastrophic end for your space mission.
Another thing has to do with the teachings of Einstein. Einstein did a lot of studying that involved the speed of light. He is the one who determined that nothing can exceed the speed of light. He also stated that if you or any other thing approaches the speed of light you would experience a slower time flow. The slower time flow from breaking the speed of light is due to the fact that as you approach the speed of light your mass approaches infinity. So knowing that, it would almost always be impossible for any living organism we know of to travel that fast. The incredible amount of mass would slow down time, but at the same time it will exert a crushing force on the object that is approaching the speed of light. That means you will be crushed by your own gravity if you try to break the speed of light.
The good news is that will still probably be able to use some other means of traveling at the speed of light. It may be a part of a technology that we have yet to discover.
