Doomsday: A Big Fluke
Y2k, 2012, and now May 21, 2011?!
As the year 2k was approaching we all held our breaths. On December 31, 1999 as the ball was dropping we were convinced by all the propaganda that the world was going to end, and as the new year entered….. nothing happened. All that buildup what with the doomsayers, warnings, and highly unreasonable claims.. nothing. The whole world got all worked up over nothing. You can probably guess what’s coming now! You guessed it, NOTHING!
At first the new date was set in stone to be December 12, 2012 (the world would definitely end on that day), but now it has magically changed to May 21, 2011. The first came about because that’s the day that the Mayan Calendar ends (supposedly). The second exists because someone interpreted the date from the bible as “Judgement Day”.
Where in the bible does it say “The world will end on May 21, 2011″? I personally would like to know. Where is the proof?! The Mayans were great astronomers, and their calender ended on 12-12-2012. So what’s the correlation between the stars and the world blowing up? Explanations/proof always seem to exist in philosophical ramblings that appear to have no connection to the earth’s demise whatsoever.
Just something to think about.
