If It Comes? Here’s What The End of The World Will Look Like When It Does

Worst case scenario?

So what exactly does that mean? In layman’s terms, we would be crossing over the ‘galactic equator’, and due to magnetics, our poles would move. (Keeping in mind that the poles aren’t physical entities, but magnetic locations). Now, realizing that the mantle is but a thin layer effectively floating on the earth’s surface, it isn’t such a reach (if we’ve already reached this far, at any rate) that the mantle would rotate (wrap some foil around a ball and move it over the surface and you’ll get an idea) to compensate. Depending on how fast it happened, the results would be cataclysmic on a global scale.

If it was a matter of hours, Earth, or at least the part we inhabit, would be obliterated. If it took years, we would be relegated to some mere drastic seismic activity; earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and such. The long term climate changes would be monumental, but not nearly as exciting to see. But if it were to happen in days or weeks… we would be pretty well screwed, but it would be something to see.

The Earthquakes would start almost immediately. Not little California tremors, but things falling into newly formed fissures in the earth type stuff. Much as I hate to be cliche enough to use it, the preview from the movie 2012 shows pretty well what it’ll look like.

Shortly thereafter, volcanic eruptions will occur all over the globe as cracks and fissures appear everywhere. This will not be limited to land; as the mantle slides, the ocean floors will feel the effects far more than the dry surfaces.

The Earth’s weather patterns will be thrown into disarray; tornados and Hurricanes will rain down on us like the planet has never seen. The clouds, now full of debris, will deliver an acidic rain that will force those left into hiding.

And then, as the Earth reconfigures itself, there will be Tsunamis and tidal waves in all of the world’s seas. Some will ‘only’ be the size of that which tore apart the Pacific Islands last year.

By now, the debris will have choked the world’s breathable air off completely. but no need to fret; we’ll all be gone by this point. The world will look… well, surprisingly similar to the clip we started with.

Now that we’ve had our fun, realize the odds of this actually happening are infinitesimal. Even if there is some credence to the ‘aligning’ concept, it simply won’t have that effect. We shouldn’t let our imaginations get the better of us. But… we have been seeing quite a few earthquakes of late, haven’t we?

    You’re such a tease.

The severe rise in natural catastrophes since the turn of the century is alarming and is not going backwards. NASA predicts a colossal solar storm is coming in 2012 at the solar maximum. It is really getting hard to deny it any longer. Forget the Mayans. It is time to learn everything you can about December 21,2012. Events may not hold off that long. We can’t stop the universe.

It could be any of those, or something completely different. Is it really the end or merely the beginning of something else?
It depends on one’s point of view.
Our world is constantly changing, some claim for the worse others for the better. I suggest we all make the best of it we can with what we have to work with

All my life I remember stories about the terrible consecuences of planets alignments and so we are still here. Most likely the end of the word will be human caused.

This is some bad news bears.. what an extraordinary day that will be. Terrible, indeed, but extraordinary.
