Mayans and 2012?

Almost everyone has heard about the 2012 future prediction about what may happen about 2012 but maybe people spend more time spreading the gossip instead of actually taking the time to determine what may actually happen and how intelligent Mayans actually were.

First to tell you about the Mayans they were a smart civilization however they did believe in human sacrifice. The Mayans would have a Calender and many gods would be on these calenders each representing a date. Each Mayan Date that passes would Move on and on until the calender ends. The Calender laster for about 20 000 days but when the calender ends people think that this could be a mayan predicition of 2021 to come however this could be as simple as our change from 2009 to 2010. Which is also the thought of the majority of people.

Mayans were also best known for their counstruction in pyramids. Not only were their pyramids the best of Mesoamerica measuring around 90m but The Largest in the world. Mayan Pyramids were built and were hard to build. The Mayans were smart enough to establish their own language however not smart enough to have built simple machines making the process of building these pyramids more simple. The simple thing was though the bricks which were used to build the pyramids were soft and easy to change shape with. However once left in the sunlight for a thousand and so years it will eventually harden.

Like any other culture the art of the culture symbolises the way of the culture. Mayan art was different with paintings and sculptures like ours but could mean something instead like the most popular type of mayan art was used to give directions to where the leaders lived. Other forms of painting were using tools like the ones we use today.

What you may be thinking is why is everyone so sure about the mayan 2012 prophacy when it could just be another wrong nutcrack. Well actually the Mayans have actually have many other correct predictions but like the Mayans they were human and made mistakes. The Mayans were right about occurences like the El nino and El Nina storms but would they did mess up with was with the predidctions of how agriculture wouldhave a downfall however it really had an uprise.

The Mayan 2012 prediction could be fake and could not mean armagedon but however they did make a film out of this. The Mayan 2012 Film is about a family who travels where the wife and the husband are divorced.                *spoiler*

                The movie is about two characters where they are divorced. The husband takes his kids onto a vacation where it is December 21st 2012 the Mayan so called prophacy. They arent frightned but all across the world everything starts to act up. One of the husbands favorite radio stations comes on were they talk about the Mayan prophacy for 2012. The Host of thestation comes and goes to where the most disaster is about to strike since many people take him as crazy. The Husband journeys on to the Host of the Radio station with his wife and her other husband and the kids. When he arrives he learns about how China is building a Ship to save everyone but only the richest finest people who spent billions of dollars for a ticket to salvation. The Family tries to enter until they realise that they are not permitted since they did not legally buy a ticket. This is when they sneak in into the back of the ship since this ship is extraordinarily large. The family makes until one of the people following them gets stuck into a gear. This is when the husband comes and rescues him from this mess and they all live happily ever after * well not really except for those who all died because of the 2012 tragedy D:).

The Mayans were a smart and organized group of people and they may be right about their 2012 prophecy.
