Past and Present Predictions About 2012

There are many different predictions about the end of 2012, 12/21/2012, to be exact. The ancient Maya made as long calendar, which began around 3000 BC and ending on the date of 2012. 

While many people may believe that this marks the end of the world, every time we change our 12-month calendar over to a new one should be afraid of the same? 

There are and have been many former and current predictions about that date. Some religious scholars say tales of Armageddon happening, and Nostradamus also talked about the end of time around that date. 

While many predictions of Nostradamus some revelations and truths in the modern world, no one can say that the end of the world is near. 

While the religious fanatics have predicted that these are the last days, it seems that every time there is an important date in history, is Armageddon again. 

When that date comes and goes, perhaps the most significant present and former prediction is not going to be a spiritual enlightenment. All those who believe in their church leaders have finally had enough of false prophecies, and turn elsewhere for guidance in place. 

Some current and past predictions have some truth in them. There will be a place of sun spots, and no doubt there are any global climate changes that are going to happen. 

The sun operates in a cycle of eleven years, eleven years when there is great activity, and eleven when this activity down to almost nothing. We are nearing the end of this downward cycle. 

It is also said that this upward cycle will be one of the worst in a long time, and there will be much more activity than we have seen in our lives. 

Does this mean that some extreme scale solar flare and flash will fry us get where we are? Not likely. While this can be an unfounded fear, solar flares to account for a lot of electronic disturbances on and around our planet. 

The often cause dramatic effects, as the northern lights, satellite communications riots, etc. One of the worst fears, that can actually happen at some point is a solar flare caused a massive electromagnetic pulse or EMP , which effectively shorts out and kills all electronic devices worldwide, puts us back 100 years. 

While some current and past predictions on the time line now infamous 2012 can be connected to real things that can happen, many are simply a false hood and should be taken with a grain of salt. 

Things like that there will be a celestial line of the planets, and there will be a gravitational phenomenon separate us is a myth, and NASA says it is not such thing in our future, and if there was, the gravitational effects would be negligible. 

The whole thing about some rogue planet coming our way and smashing into us like the SciFi book When Worlds Collide is just another myth. If this were true, would now be able to see with the naked eye.
