If Str8 People Want to Mess with Gay Marriage, Should Gays Force a Law Banning Divorce?
by The easiest way to not deal with gay weddings is not to marry a gay person.
What if gay people cried "foul" by introducing legislature that would ban "Divorce" since marriage is supposed to be until "Death do part"? Perhaps if gay people poked their noses into straight people’s lives the straight people would get offended too. Why not adopt the Law "Harm No One"?
OK! It seems that the Mormon Church is one of the biggest proponents of banning Gay Marriage, also known as proposition H8 … commonly called Proposition Hate but some of the farthest right wing critics cry “Foul”, as it is really none of straight people’s business. Oh yeah … the straight people are worried that Gay Marriage will desecrate “marriage” as we all know it. So then why do straight people get divorces over 70% of the time?
There is a simple solution to all of this! If straight people want to mess with gay people, then it seems only fair that gay people should insist that their Senators and Congressmen vote in a proposition that would ban divorce.
Straight people do not realize that gay “unions” are fraught with exceptions that limit gay visits to partners in hospitals and it endangers the security and possessions of the living partner should one pass away … thanks to the relatives coming in and taking everything that the couple built together. Is this fair? Certainly not!
So, what to do … what to do? Perhaps, the Mormon and Catholic churches should look at what Jesus Christ would have done in a similar situation! When Jesus told the crowd to spare the “harlot” and not stone her to death for her trespasses … would he have said anything less for a gay person? Certainly not. Jesus believed, as all Christians who are truly Christians believe, that we are all God’s children, and we all deserve the same chance to live, love, and be happy. Jesus believed that we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord. Straight people should share the sacrament of marriage with everyone. It is not owned by straight people, and straight people do not have the right to marry and yet deny gay people an equal opportunity.

Perhaps straight people object to gay people adopting kids. But where did the adopted kids originate in the first place? They are the cast-offs of straight people so if straight people are unable to bring up the children, why not let gay people bring them up? All of this nonsense about bestiality and child molestation are utter lies if one analyzes the police records and finds that most molestations are committed by straight family members, not gay people. But there are always bad apples in every crop so I’m not saying that it never happens with gay people, but it is rarely in the news, and rarely on Police blotters.
So, after we pass a law that deprives Congress of their pay if they waffle, or delay passage of a bill that controls govt budgets or financing, or in any way causes delays that ultimately cost the taxpayers money, lets also vote on a bill that would ban “divorce” just to keep marriage “sacred” in

Do straight people yet see that there is no need for them to police gay marriage, or gay sex, or to say who can get married and who cannot, or who can adopt abandoned children and who cannot, or the fairness of how straight people can visit their partners in the hospital during grave illness, but gay people cannot?
This is the United States of America, people! Where our rights may be slipping with the introduction of the Patriot Act, PIPA, SOPA, and that darned new law that Obama signed that allows our military to shoot American civilians, in the name of freedom. Utter nonsense!
So, rather than cause your fellow Americans heart-ache and trouble, why not strive to get along and not mess in other people’s business. Leave the gays, the Mexicans, the Islamic people, and all Americans, and people of the world alone! Please practice Harming No One and let me know how that works out for you!
