Same-Sex Marriage in Canada

If two people are in love, nothing or no one should keep them from being bound together by marriage.

On the counter part, there is no report published regarding the effects on children of separation from families with same-sex parents. Besides, as reported by Kathleen A. Lahey, and Kevin Anderson, there is less risk of the same-sex couples to get divorced.

The results of more than a century provide no support whatsoever for the view that either civilization or social orders depend exclusively upon heterosexual marriage. In fact lots of families built upon same-sex partnerships have become stable and they have contributed to a more humane society. A stable and committed relationship is what the society needs most. There is no difference in the ability of same-sex and opposite-sex couples to make commitments. Thus if same-sex relationships are capable of making such a society therefore they deserved the same opportunities given to opposite-sex couples.

Finally, a lot of homosexuals have enjoyed being married just like the other man-woman couples. As evidence, they can now get the proof of their being “bound together” which is the marriage license. Some Christian churches even allowed them to have a wedding ceremony. Same-sex couples also got the privilege of the normal couple regarding the legalities of their marriage. They can now freely expose their relationships in the public without getting worried of discrimination. The same-sex couple obviously can not have their own children, but they can acquire children through adoption. However, some other institutions and even individuals are still against same-sex marriage. This will continue forever. Although some Christian churches already allowed the same-sex marriage, still there are some who would continue to condemn homosexuality and some may regard it as immoral. Well, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. And as much as everyone has got the free choice of their own opinion, so there must also be a free choice for everyone to have a partner of any preferred gender. Therefore as long as the couple doesn’t cause any trouble to anyone or anything, homosexuals should have the same rights as the heterosexuals.

Being aware that some Spanish reactionary translators refuse to translate documents for same-sex marriage, if you ever need your certificates, Apostilles and/or other documents translated into Spanish by a sworn translator, do not hesitate to visit http://www.paraphrasis.com and contact me. Obviously, I will treat your details with all respect and confidentiality.
