The Gay Lifestyle – What is It?

Being openly Gay has never been easy. Leading a typical Gay lifestyle tends to be one of the few options that provides people with the ability to be able to cope with life in general. From having the latest fashions to the latest gadgets most people that identify with the LGBTQ population will have their own little vice.

Something which the LGBTQ community is seen to do very well indeed is look after themselves, from watching the food that they eat, to making sure that they always have moisturser with them, it follows a simple set of rules that anyone with a little bit of forethinking can apply.

• Be prepared – It really is as simple as that, you never know what one of your friends might not have, a spare bit of lipstick, or they’ve run out of moisturser. The reason that many ladies within the straight community tend to get on fantastically well with men from the LGBTQ community is because of exactly this, they are always prepared, and comfortable in their own skin, at least enough so that their female friends do not feel that they are going to be “Approached” for a sexual enounter.
• Know your limits – and be prepared to admit them. Most people in the straight community struggle to do this for some reason when they are dating, and it can be rather infurating to most people that identify with the LGBTQ community.

There are a lot of people that identify with the LGBTQ community that however do not conform to the normally perceived LGBTQ lifestyle. This can be because of social, economical, or other pressures, or just because they don’t want to. Either way, it is said that over the course of your lifetime, you will at least part identify with the LGBTQ community once.

There are many people within the LGBTQ community that have many things going on which are typically resevered only for the straight community, take football for example, around the UK there is a gay football league, however it has been outcast by other non-LGBTQ football teams as inappropriate. Unfortunately it is widely believed that most football players are either gay or bi-sexual, meaning that most of the perceived straight football leagues, right the way up to the top leagues in the world, are littered with the exact people that they have been attempting to remove from the game itself.

In essence there is no such thing as a typical gay lifestyle, and never will be. I have met straight men that are far more “camp” than the most “camp” gay man I know.
