Leonardo, you are partially correct, I say partially because scripture does tell us that in heaven (this means after death when we go to be with the Lord) that no one is given in marriage (this is probably due to the fact that we are the Bride of Christ and there will be no reason for marriage then.) However, on Earth we were given the command to go forth and multiply, (this is something homosexuals cannot naturally do) God ORDAINED marriage to be between a man and a woman, it is true that a single person, never married does not have to worry about supporting a wife and/or family and thus could give more dedication to God. Marriage however is not forbidden, marriage in it's proper context (between male and female) is a gift from God.

the term "homosexual(gay) marriage" is an oxymoron, homosexuality is equally as wrong as other sexual sins such as fornication, because it is outside the terms of what GOD defined and ordained for marriage.

In your bible it states that people are not given to one another to marry in heaven. This clarifies that to be the best you can be for your God that you would avoid even marriage (...Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven). Since you wish the homosexuals to all be the best they can be for God, how about yourself? Have you been willing to give up even marriage for your God so that you could be the best that you can be?

If my father was gay i would'nt be here, thank God my father is normal.

If gay is so good, and everyones turns gay, no more babies will come into this world, so, in many years from now, there will be no more humans on earth.

So "Gay" = "human race destruction" (on the long term)

Right ?!

JUPITER, i pray that God bless you because you bring the truth with the Word of God, and you are making God proud of you. God bless you and all your familly. I pray God the he reveils the truth in every gay's heart, so that they stop their sins and turn to Him for forgivness. Amen
God puts His laws in place BECAUSE He loves his children,to protect us. When people deliberately break those laws though, they end up harming themselves in the long run

God does love all His childen, nobody is disputing that, but nonetheless He does write His laws on our hearts for a reason,

you ask
"If homosexuality was immoral why would it be? I never understood it."

Homosexuality is immoral because it is unnatural, people were created male and female for a reason, even human anatomy testifies to that fact.

Nobody goes to Hell for Loving,When however, God puts the laws of nature in place and people deliberately violate them, consequences naturally follow, that is true of any violation, not just homosexuality.

People keep living in the same rebellion and expect different results, but the fact remains that the laws of nature are the laws of nature.

Someone once said "If you keep doing what you've been doing, you keep getting what you've been getting" and that statement is very true.

You think articles like this are written out of "bigotry" or hatred, but in fact this author(as was pointed out by another comentator) is just trying to protect people from a lifestyle that research and statistics has shown has deadly consequences.
God loves all his children. If homosexuality was immoral why would it be? I never understood it.
Why would someone go to hell for loving? It's what the world desperately needs.

I have never read the Bible and I don't plan to, I am not a believer in God but don't judge me. I am open to ideas even though I do not agree with them. I respect all statements and ideas of the Bible.

Let me say this,
If I am diseased or going to die young for being bisexual and in a relationship involving another female then so be it. I'd rather go to hell for being in love than not loving at all and hiding who I am.

I've been reading some of the comments on this page. I am in a young adults class in our church, and a few weeks ago, the leader said that he believed that there would be homosexuals that make it to heaven. His arguement was that God's blood is much stronger than that sin. He said that he believed that some people were more inclined to certain sins than others, and he even threw in genetics. Although I do believe that it can be "inherited" I don't believe it has anything to do with genetics, but a lot to do with the curses that are passed down from generations to generations== the same way that blessings are passed down. Anyway, when he said this, no one argued his point because we were short on time. I have read my Bible, and it is true that homosexuality is = lying in the eyes of GOD. So, I'm not judging, b/c believe me, I'm FAR from perfect. However, by no means does this make it okay to sin and take God's grace for granted.
If the church accepts homosexuality, or adultery, or addictions, etc., then why would there be a need to go to "church?" Why not just stay home? If one of your body parts is diseased, you seek medical attention to try to cure it. However, if after constant care and treatment it does not heal, and there is a possibility of contaminating the rest of the body, more than likely you'll have to cut that limb. Otherwise, the whole body will be diseased and will soon die. Is this making any sense?
I want to challenge all the readers to really study themselves. Where are we failing God? Is it lying? fornication/adultery? pornography? abortion? idolatry? gossip? drunkenness? judgemental? More than likely if someone is failing God in one area, he/she hasn't TOTALLY surrendered his ALL to God. "For you shall know the truth, and the truth shall SET YOU FREE!" Jn 8:32

I have been reading all the comments, and I can see there are so many that have not known the joy of having Christ in their hearts. While I will not claim to be an expert on the Bible and all the verses, I have studied enough to know what is acceptable in God's eyes and what is not. So many times people want to pick and choose which part of God's word they want to follow and ignore the rest. I was at one point in my life one of those people, I was fooling myself, but not God. As to the original message trying to be conveyed in this forum, I did not see where Corinthians 6 was mentioned. Verse 9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders Verse 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. To take it further in Corninthians God tells us in verses 12 thru 20-
12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."[b] 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

God gave us a promise of everlasting life, and it is something I have chosen to accept that gift. For those that are living for the now, my heart aches for what you have ahead of you. May you someday accept God's gift and you will know the joy that goes beyond anything you have known. If nothing else, remember that if the Rapture comes and you survive, you have the tribulation period to come to Christ, but it will be a time on this earth that will be frightening, painful, and will take great strength to survive the suffering. Please remember these words, or better yet, seek Christ's love now and give your heart and life to Him now. You won't regret it, I promise.
