Defending Our American Constitution : Part One

An article about how we have been deceived by the government and let them run over ou constitution without remorse or conviction of our freedoms.

I believe it is way past time that we all start to defend our constitutional rights as set forth by our forefathers when this great country of America was founded. Let us begin with the Preamble which states:

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

It is reasonable to assume that we have not established justice (fairness or reasonableness, especially in the way people are treated or decisions are made) in this country in any way that the form of the word is used. When has justice ever actually been served in fairness to all Americans. The minorities certainly have never received justice as well as many of the majority.

Ensuring domestic tranquility has been defended through many wars, but at what cost? Millions upon millions of lives have been lost, especially in the catastrophe of Vietnam and the Middle East. While I honor our great men who have bravely fought for our freedoms, I wonder if Vietnam and the wars in the Middle East needed to be fought at any cost.

Promoting general welfare has become a joke to our nation. The last thing that President George W. Bush ahs done is promote our general welfare. In fact, it could be argued that his eight years in office have done nothing but destroy our general welfare as he has let men in power who do not have the right become leaders of our economic mainstays. I believe he has let the Illuminati, Bildergers and the Trilateral Commision take control of the stock market and have had their way with our money. Bailout? What a ridiculous concept at this time in our lives. The bailout is nothing more than giving away our hard earned money to those who don’t deserve it because they did not make the proper decisions when it came to running their own companies. How could we let this happen? We are so used to our government running our lives without our say that we have to blame ourselves as well as them. In the last couple of decades, we became so caught up with having a better life and spending money on ridiculously expensive items, that we did not pay attention to what they were doing to us behind the scenes. There were some voices crying out and trying to warn us, but we did not listen. But in the end, it comes down to the government putting blindfolds over us and leading us down the path to destruction.

Get the message out to as many as you can – this is so important.
Here in the UK we have been sold down the river.
Our Prime Minister (a PM not elected by the people) signed us up to the Lisbon treaty – From tomorrow – 09/01/09 European Union (EU) constitution – will over-rule our centuries old UK constitution.
Many of the UK citizens remain completely oblivious to this – a direct result of a media campaign to keep the issue as quiet and understated as possible – official website information is sketchy and confusing.
Details of exactly what it will mean for the UK will “unfold gradually over the next 10 years”
    I personally expect the worst
There was little or no debate and we were not asked our opinions or allowed to vote on this issue.
Much of Ireland is however resisting pressure to sign.
This is just a small part of a wider political agenda of globalisation.
Globalisation as a concept is acceptable and inevitable – However – globilisation has been planned, sneaked manipulated and forced by unknown sinister figures, who hide in shadows, unseen, unknown.
Will, your article is of supreme importance – The USA needs to defend it’s constitution and freedom

Apathy had become the accepted behavior for too long. Denial is nearing the top too. Good post. Yes, where are the rights of long ago?
Thank you for bringing this into focus.

I am constantly amazed how people believe the government started trashing the constitution with bush.

It’s been going on for decades and no one cared until bush was elected.

Small minded people are upset that bush pushed the boundaries of illegal wiretapping but never voice their concern about when jimmy carter was doing it.

Be a good American citizen, call out ALL the presidents for doing it, not just the one that you hate.

Jeff, you obviously did not read the article carefuly. Not once did I mention wiretapping and if I called out every President for their wrong-doings, it would take a book, not an article. I am definitley a good American citizen and I take great offense to you saying that I am not. If I was not a good American citizen, I would not be trying to bring to light the situation we are in now, not the history of the entire presidencies.

There is too much trouble in the horizon. I hope that the world would see great leaders whom care about the people not their own interests.
