Federal Bailout Plan: Nothing But a Joke
The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting the shaft. This bailout os not only not working, it is hurting the little people. We need a real plan and I have one.
Now, I know my entire plan will not work, but there are mortgage companies out there who do not deserve help, but prosecution, same with banks and investment firms. The little people have to choose between paying for their food, medication, education, their home, bills and whether they can afford toilet paper that month or not since food stamps do not cover non-food items, you know. Did you know that or do you not even care?
You said you wanted to change things and to make a difference, do it before you have no voters left alive to represent. We will not survive much longer on the help we have gotten so far. Mr. President, you promised to lower our national deficit by half before the end of your term. Not to sound like Dr. Phil, but how is that working for you because from where I stand, it has only gotten bigger. Now I know you inherited this problem, but you knew that going in and you made promises. You have had 100 days and you have done nothing. But in that 100 days, over a thousand families lost their home, over 5,000 children went to bed hungry or cold (because their parents couldn’t afford food or the heating bill), over 6,000 people went without clean running water or if they had water, they could not heat it without gas or electricity. Over 10,000 people are living in houses without electricity.
We little people are doing without the basic bare necessities of life and we are getting desperate. We have fathers and mothers donating blood more than once a week to put food in the children’s mouth. We have people who would never have broken the law in the past, doing so now to feed their families. The good Lord knows we need help and He has placed you in a position to do just that so do not let Him or us down.
