Fisher Tiger

Fisher Tiger was the strongest fishman in the One Piece universe, who had many accomplishments. Among his accomplishments was the courage required to challenge the Tenryuubito and free their slaves. Fisher climbed the red line and proceeded to battle the armies of the World Government in his effort to either free fishman/mermen and kill the Tenryuubito or simply free all slaves – I cannot be sure because his motives for climbing into Mariejois are currently unclear. What has become clear is that Fisher Tiger engaged the armies alone, predictably lost and became a slave.

I’ll infer from Fisher Tiger and his brothers attitudes towards humans, that during his time on Fishman Island, they hated every thing about humans, despite the Royal family’s calls for friendship with humans. I believe that Fisher Tigers experiences as a slave and the friends that he had made as a slave with humans showed him that there were good and bad humans. So his attitude towards humans changed, he recognised the good and bad nature of humans, thus did not discriminate any more.

Later, he led a daring escape from Marijois despite the fact that he was forever the property of the Tenryuubito, and as such, he would be pursued for the rest of his life. 

I thought that while his death may have seemed lame, the fact that he could climb the red line and battle the best of the best troops the World Government has, clearly demonstrates that he was not an ordinary fighter. In fact, I would say he was closer to the Admirals than most of the shichibukai.
