please understand that i am not being biased! I myself am a foreign talent’s child.I think singapore is a wonderful countr and has given me many wonderful freind. However your claims are totally biased and i felt that i should inform you.And for the singaporeans who feel that foreign talent are snatching their so called ‘birthright’. CHIN UP!!!Work for it…nd you will get it..stop complaining and work harder to get your jobs and university seats.The governments doesnt anyhow give seats or jobs to FT.You need a certain level of skill…and if you want it then earn it dont just expect the govt to give it to you cuz your a singaporean.

Personally, I would like to see our foreign talent-led government in Singapore. First, these foreign talent bring along with them new ideas and knowledge which they could benefit local ministers who might no longer have any; Second, these foreign talent usually are willing to work harder and accept lower salaries, hence, eradicating the need to pay grossly excessive salaries to our current local ministers.

Eventually, foreign talent-led government will benefit Singaporeans more than local ministers.

this claim is just plain stupid.

though i do agree with some of your arguments, it seems like you only focused on the impact of foreign talents that come from poorer countries.

the person who wrote this is definitely a student, most probably a JC student.

the government sure is not concerned for our needs and interests. they do and act according to whatever they think are in our best interests but its actually their own interests. just take the foreign talent case for example. because of their influx here, these FTs have dampened the wage levels of Singaporeans in general. This, coupled with the high cost of living, erodes the living standards of Singaporeans as a whole. And of course, not to mention the influx of foreign students who are competing for university places with local students.

it is good that you stated the pros and cons of the foreign talent policy and concluding the it is beneficial. however, maybe different people have different views due to the different accounters with the foreign talents.
