Four Pillars of The Global Revolution

The first pillar is non-idolatry. It is the root of all values. It says in effect I am a fallible human being and I shall worship nothing and no one saving my allegiance to the One within alone and for the values of this one of which this the bedrock universal first value.

And interactively and modifying each the other here are the three active values of our global revolution.

Tolerance

Tolerance is not an I don’t care live and let live attitude. It recognizes that we all at some level have limits, biases, aversions and fears. Tolerance is the cultivation of inner strength based on the premise that all people deserve all rights and all things that impinge on us can only be dealt with by leaving them or changing them. Tolerance is applying conscious thought to everything you encounter that disturbs.

Tolerance also has a general meaning and is a value to be promoted as part of the triad of active values that are together the substance of values needed for our global revolution. It is a cry against entrenched intolerance in all of its manifold forms and a resolution to practice tolerance even in the conflict which is necessary to defeat intolerance.

This is the way of Abba.

Democracy

Democracy is not simply a way of governance which can be adapted to the desires of a society. Democracy is also the universal value which insists that all persons are equal before the law and before the eyes of others. It is the only value that enables the full flowering of people everywhere. For make no mistake. These values are merely the prelude to the learning of life itself as a creative interaction between each person and Abba the One within – the one all can pray to and the one who is also the One to whom all people pray regardless of their religion or non-religion.

Today we may advocate for democracy in Egypt or Tunisia bit we should be advocating for it everywhere because it is never perfectly practiced and it is always requiring upkeep.

Democracy and tolerance work interactively to enable one to persevere as a global revolutionary.

Helpfulness

Helpfulness is what Jesus and virtually every other religious prophet has advocated as the practice closest to the will of Abba the One within all who seeks to be heard as the still small voice of change and justice and love.

In its essence helpfulness tells us that we are not solo creatures. We are individuals and Abba communicates through individuals not through “leaders”. Each person is a revolutionary only by inner communication with Abba. But the outcome of this encounter is a move from I to us.

And a move from selfishness to sharing and help to others.

The ultimate test of a global revolution is whether it embraces the four values noted above. If it does it succeeds. If it does not it goes into the dustbin of history and we must like Sisyphus bush the stone up again.

History moves in cycles depending precisely and inevitably on how individuals embrace these four values.

A global revolution is underway not just on the ground in specific countries but in all minds everywhere as Abba struggles for a foothold within every human being

Abba is your name for the One within who is nameless but who espouses and bears the values of our revolution
