Gaddafi Resistance Forces Closer to The Sirte
Libyan interim government forces has come closer to claiming victory in the fightpertempurang Sirte, the town is still dominated supporter Colonel MuammarGaddafi.
A spokesman for anti-Gaddafi said the insurgents airport and a military base in that city had been won.
Another Fierce fighting reported in other cities that are still controlled by Gaddafiloyalists, Bani Walid.
Since the resistance forces control the majority of Libyan territory last August, ColGaddafi has not yet confirmed its existence.
But the rest of loyalisnya remains in Sirte, Bani Walid and several other citieswhile the interim government forces, the National Transition Council (NTC), trying to take over control of all over the country.
NATO bombing
The BBC’s Alastair Leithead, was with anti-Gaddafi insurgents near Sirte, anddescribes the slow fighting in the midst of bombardment against targetssupporters of Gaddafi, who has been damaged and taken over.
Yet according to Leithead NTC troops still remain distant from the eastern gate ofthe city, although from the west and south is estimated to range them closer.
There were also reports that the takeover can not be confirmed related Harawacity, 80km east of Sirte, after negotiations for surrender.
While there are also news related to opposing the NATO bombing over the city.
Military spokesman told the BBC in Misrata said a NATO aircraft fired on a building in Misrata last Friday and killed many supporters of Col. Gaddafi.
In contrast according to a spokesman for Gaddafi, Moussa Ibrahim, as quoted by Reuters news agency, the attack killed 300 civilians Libya.
