Gaddafi’s Forces Gain Ground in Ajdabiya
Ajdabiya city has again become the scene of Sunday in renewed fighting between rebels and forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to try to take control of the town, gateway to the rest of insurgent positions in eastern DRC With an offensive that has left four rebels dead time and gadafistas hold much of the city.

Reuters witnesses said, Gaddafi’s forces are in the city center after breaking into it through the east entrance, previously ravaged by artillery fire.
“There is resistance within the city. They are finding themselves fighting. Gaddafi loyalists have a presence inside, ” said a rebel located at a checkpoint on the eastern edge of the city.
Other rebels report that several forces snipers are stationed Qaddafi and on rooftops, while their colleagues patrol the city streets in SUVs.
Ajdabiya is the last major city on the road from the Mediterranean coast before the rebel stronghold of Benghazi and Tobruk oil terminal.
