How to Get Free Stuff & Bargains From U.s. Postal Service
The things I write about are very beneficial, but really in this fast pace life we rarely thing about these free things, unless you come across one of my articles!!
Theres bargains, and free things all around you, but first you have to look, and take action getting them. Some times you only have to provide a name and address to get free things. But again, it never enters our mind unless we see or hear someone speaking about it. Heres a little info that you could benefit from and its from the U.S. Postal Service.
Bargains from the post office? Believe it or not, the U.S. Postal Service does offer some bargains through the auction of various types of property. The Postal Auctions ” Unclaimed loose-in-the-mail items” and postal equipment at a number of locations across the country are available, but you have to know where to look. If you have the time to invest in tracking down and attending some of these auctions you could come away with some really, really good buys.
Unclaimed loose-in-the-mail items may include an assortment of “undeliverable” merchandise, such as clocks, t.v.s, radios, tape recorders, Cd’s, jewelry, VCR, clothing, or any other items that are lost and unclaimed in the U.S. Mail. Auctions of unclaimed loose-in-the-mail items are held twice a year I believe, at each of the Postal Services Mail Recovery Centers. Bulk Mail Center Managers are responsible for announcing when the auctions will be held. I suggest, that you contact the General Managers of the Mail Recovery Centers. Do a Google search on U.S. Postal Service Lost, Unclaimed Items, and you should be on your way to having some of the lost items at a low costs.
I discovered that the Postal Service has sales programs that dispose of the postal equipment, such as excess postal vehicles, computers, workroom and office furniture, electronic and hardware items for mail-handling equipment, and much more. Auctions and sales of postal equipment are conducted locally to create community involvement and to reduce handling and transportation costs. Sales are announced in local newspapers and by notices posted on lobby bulletin boards at the post offices where the sale will be held.
In ending, be aware that the Postal Service’s Purchasing Service Centers maintail lists of people who are interested in making purchases. To have your name added to the list for an area, contact the Manager of the appropriate Purchasing Service Center and give them your contact information.
This should be sufficient information to get you in the game of Postal Service Auctions, bargains, or what-ever you want to call it. I call it a good deal, and I’m all about bargains, and free stuff when I find it. Until next time, good luck and take care.
