If Freedom’s Really Free,then What’s with All The New Taxes?!

I’m sure it seemed like a good ideal at the time,at least to O’bama and his associates,requiring that every one buy their own health insurance.It has even been contemplated that failure to do so could lead to criminal prosecution.That’s why some states,Texas included,have passed bills to prevent this step into a police-state.

Just think about it,for whatever reason you fail to buy health insurance.Maybe you just don’t make enough money,and it’s a choice between having something that you may never use or eating.Maybe you’re a smoker and do not want to pay some entity so they can bitch about your habit.And disallow any claims you may make,perhaps you,like me,think that if you are paying for a service then you have the say on what you will or will not do.Not pay them to order you around thereby losing one more precious bit of freedom.I beleive it was Thomas Jefferson who said,”When we allow the government to say what foods,or medicines we take into our  bodies,then our bodies will be in the same state of tyranny that the rest of us are in.”

But you say these are only measures to keep the insurance costs down.That’s fine and dandy only if I’m paying them then I would like to see a return for my investment.Not be told,”Oh,you smoke we don’t have to pay for your treatment,don’t forget to send in your next payment.”

As with urinalyses,I’m sure it seemed like a good ideal to the fascist sitting in the insurance office.If you test positive for an illicit substance then they don’t have to pay for your injury.Whether or not it had anything to do with how you were injured,they get their cake and eat it too!You on the other hand,can go get screwed,to put it nicely.The first time I saw this encroachment on our freedom the one person,who broke faith and took it,was within thirty minutes looking for a ride to the hospital.Frankly we didn’t care if he bled to death.

Yet the Supreme Court upheld the legality of this chip in the sidewalk of life we call the Bill-Of-Rights.Funny,on that same day they also said that burning the Flag was freedom of speech.Perhaps they thought that all of us would run out and light one up.Although,when one considers the men,and women who’ve died for the freedoms that it represents perhaps it would be better to burn it than to let it fly over what is rapidly becoming a Police-State.
