Is It Time for Peace

How to achieve world peace.

With so much uncertainty, unrest, increasing natural disasters, and the ever present threat of terrorism facing society’s all over the world today, even with all this ongoing turmoil it just might be possible global peace and prosperity could actually become a reality. Nations are beginning to realize that any continuation of a society’s stagnation or regression of economic opportunities leads to eventual civil unrest, civil disobedience, and an escalation of depravation among the populace. This will eventually spread to other nations having catastrophic results unless those conditions are eliminated.

The monumental task now is how will nations resolve the economic deficiencies that plague every country? The United States even with all it’s economic and social inadequacies amid our society today is still positioned to be the best catalyst for other nations to emulate in shaping policies that will generate future economic expansion and social stability.

What the United States must do now in order to start this progression of change has actually begun with the Obama’s Administrations focus on generating national attention to all the major crisis that continue to undermine our own economic expansion and social stability. Major changes within the United States must occur that with the fruition of these needed changes such as education reform, energy independence, and a 4% or less unemployment rate with real living wages our society will once again achieve the economic prominence that is so lacking in America today. When these are achieved only then will the United States be in an authentic position to assist other nations achieve their own economic stability and growth. When other nations actually see how the United States regains the economic superiority we had following World War 11 they now will be able to actually start the renewal of their society’s struggle with loss opportunities.

The ground work for change is continually being laid today. The United Nations and all of the G 20 countries are cooperating with one another more now than they had in recent years. One of the key factors has been the continued and escalating threat of Global terrorism and diseases that know no borders. The advent of new technologies have made nations less isolated and more susceptible to more outside influences than they ever were experiencing previously. All of these indicate that global cooperation is necessary to eradicate any and all threats that threaten any nation, society, and nature.

Though many obstacles yet remain it is at this juncture in human history that actions taken today will ultimately determine the fate of humanity and of our planet. Global crisis and disasters require Global responses and solutions. To have any nation renege it’s responsibility in contributing to solving the atrocities caused whether it is a natural disaster or human tragedy only further delays any nations ability to recover and impedes other nations from rendering assistance to alleviate the crisis that has occurred. When every country is involved in the solution process for international crisis the destruction caused by any catastrophe will be greatly lessoned because of global responses. It is in this resolve that the United States leads the way for the United Nations and all the other G 20 nations band together for the purpose to end the Human tragedies that plague all of mankind.
