Libya: British Air Attack on Oil Field Bypass

A British air strike hit Wednesday bypass oil field, Sirte Basin, and damaged an important pipeline to make the connection between an oil deposit and a Mediterranean port, according to Libyan officials quoted by Reuters.

“British aircraft conducted an air strike against bypass oil field. After the attack, three guards were killed, while other employees were injured,” said Libyan Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Kaim.
