Little Girl Run Over by Car. 18 People Pass by and Ignore
Little Girl Run Over By Car. 18 people walk by her as she lays there, and they don’t attempt to do a thing.
Here’s a video from China that shows a little girl walking down the street. A white van approaches the little girl, and hits her. Then the car runs over her body again and speeds off. Eighteen different people walk by the body without helping her until one woman sees the body and finally decides to help. I think it’s a very sad word when nobody is willing to take a moment to stop and help a little girl. It shows how nobody wants to be bothered anymore. It seems like nobody wants anyone’s problems to be any of their business, and people have become totally selfish and disgusting. People don’t want to do anything for anyone, even if their only 8 years old.
Please watch the video here:
I am pretty horrified by this video. Imagine this being your child getting run over, and people just kept passing by and doing nothing? You would be pretty angry, wouldn’t you? I don’t feel this represents China as a whole, but some people might take the video out of context, and use it to put down China. I couldn’t believe that one guy who stood next to her, looked at her body, and then walked away. Totally sickening. It doesn’t get much sicker than that. Does this reflect our culture as a whole? Are we a cold, selfish society? Has technology made us colder toward everyone and everything?

There is more kindness in the world than bad. Only the horrific makes the news for the most part. AND THAT is why the world still has redeeming qualities.
Nice share, it is stuff like this that makes the good even better.

That was really sad =( We should always be open to lend our hands to those who need help. Sadly reality hurts in some cases.

I have heard of this story, it is reason to worry, and could currently happen anywhere in the world. What happened to humanistic values?

I realize how horrible it sounds but even in the US people are not obligated to aid someone in need. According to US tort law you are obligated to aid only in case you actually stop and start helping, if you keep driving you commit no crime. In Italy (and many other European countries) not helping in such cases is punishable by law.
