Ode to My Homeland
by America: Haven for All.
There are some people who would have others believe that the U.S.A is a scourge. I have to say that the people who hold such a view of the U.S. fail to realize just how blessed other countries have been by U.S. aide. I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but America has been a haven for generations of people who have been otherwise oppressed.
Anyone who would deny that is either ignorant of history, or being willfully obtuse. I am an American, born,raised and will likely breathe my last here.
The failings of a few in leadership does not make America itself a scourge either. Sweeping generalization is the mother of misconceptions. When you have lived in this country as long as my family has, you see some things.
Like all places, America has it’s negative points, but I can say with all honesty and a clear conscience that I’d never wish harm to my homeland or leave it for any foreign shores.
America, the Beautiful, God shed His Grace on Thee.

Aw! America is special to me because of our religious roots and freedoms. Every single country under the sun has their troubles.

Your right too, America is always sending aid. Then some who get the aid complain.
