Online scams such as fraud lottery winning notification were somehow becoming a widespread. Victimizing innocent people through email hacking and sending fraudulent notifications under known organization or company names (e.g., UN Foundation). Below was my very recent encounter with scam notifications which, if left inveiled, may further their cunning tricks on taking your hard-earned money.
February 3, 2013… I checked my email and a notification which labeled “award” caught my attention. The introductory mail informed me that someone who recently won a lottery made their donation and had been luckily chose my email through random selection scheme and subsequently won me 800,000 pounds (they also attached the link about the donor to make it somehow realistic although I started to doubt since the donation they made was for the children refugee and not for some sort of “weird” random beneficiary). Along with the email was an attachment which reads:
