Predicted Declining Pc Shipments This Year
STAMFORD – Delivery Personal Computer (PC) is predicted to weaken in 2012. These estimates appear due to the tablet occupies a significant amount of numbers and dominate sales in the computer market.

However, Ranjit Atwal, Gartner research director predicted that PC sales growth in developing countries will increase from 50 percent in 2011, to nearly 70 percent in 2016. As reported by Softpedia on Sunday (3/11/2012).
“The market in developing countries is key to encouraging the growth of PCs around the world, both in short and long term. Our forecast is that 2012 to 2013 and beyond will be supported by growth in PC sales in developing countries,” said Ranjit Atwal, Gartner research director.

“The market in developing countries have very low PC penetration, even with the availability of other devices, we still expect the absorption of PC,” he explained.
