Section 1233 of The Health Care Bill

I think there is a bit of misunderstanding with the bill. People think the government is the one who will decide whether to pull the plug on the person or not. Actually this bill gives the option to people who will end up dyeing anyways to take an easier less painful rout. People have the choice weather they see Euthanasia as an option.

Many people who are suffering from cancer or other illnesses and are a step away from a painful death would rather go for this quick non-painful method. Some states already use this method so it’s nothing new just something not so heard of.

Sometimes family members would rather pay for expensive surgeries which might not even work. The patients themselves sometimes want out of the pain they feel but families, who don’t necessary feel the pain their loved one feels, cant see Euthanasia an option.
